Made to Order
Billie Marie has two sections of products - Made to Order and Ready to Ship. Keep reading for more information.
What does that mean?
The small items I make (trays, keychains, etc) will always be in stock/Ready to Ship. The larger items (wallets, clutches, bags) will be made for you after you’ve submitted your order.
Limited Release
Since I am the only person currently making leather goods here at Billie Marie, I will also be limiting the number of orders I will take for Made to Order items each month. So, that means if you have your eye on a certain design, you’ll want to keep your eye out for our monthly release date so you can secure one of the limited spots. Sign up for notifications here.

Why the change?
The biggest reason is environmental. Companies that pre-produce products are guessing at what their customers will buy. The items that don’t get purchased often go into a landfill. While that has never been my mode of operation, I want to never get to the point where I have to throw unsold products away. It also helps me with buying the right quantity of materials to produce only what I need and keeps space/capacity issues in my tiny workspace at a minimum.
