Dearest Friends, Family, Customers & Community,

I am writing to you to tell you that Billie Marie will be closing down until further notice. It has been a hard decision to make but with the announcement of our building neighbor, Workshop Residence, closing their store for good after 10 years in business, it seems like the right time to take a pause. 

The Billie Marie team and I have been through a lot of wonderful transitions this year and were excited to hit the ground running making beautiful leather goods for you from our new home in the Workshop Residence building in the Dogpatch. And it has been amazing to get to know such a creative and vibrant neighborhood in San Francisco, we felt embraced by the community from the moment we arrived.

COVID-19 wasn't something any of us expected, and with so many unknowns in the near future, I have made the difficult decision to close down our boutique and take a hiatus from the business side of things to re-discover my creative inspiration, re-think approach to leatherwork and get ready for a new post-COVID world. 

The Billie Marie boutique will be closing its doors for good on August 30th and the website will be put on pause around the same time.

I hope that those of you who live in the Bay Area will stop by the store before it closes to say hi, check out the space and shop for your favorite Billie Marie goods before they are gone. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who have supported this little dream that began in my dining room 4.5 years. I genuinely hope to be back in January 2021 with news on the future of Billie Marie, so please stay tuned until then.
